“My workout regimen has changed quite drastically during my preparation for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. I have always been athletic and enjoyed fitness, but I have taken a different approach with my fitness goals to prepare for the show. Michael [Olajide Jr]’s method of training is completely different to anything I had ever done before. It is fast and extremely intense, but it works quickly.”
My each day routine has principally been a slight variation of the identical factor day by day. I’ve been spending two hours within the fitness center with Michael each morning. We work on all types of excessive depth boxing mixtures, bounce rope expertise after which will end off with some detailed firming exercises. Most afternoons I’ll take a reformer Pilates class or do a 10km stroll to elongate and stretch my legs.”
On why the core is her precedence
“The main area I have been focusing on during training is my core. Strength comes from your core, so once I learnt how to activate it during every exercise I started toning immediately. Although most of my workouts are for the entire body, I want to make sure everything’s in place.”
On the challenges of training like an Angel
“Learning how to jump rope has definitely been the hardest part of my training regimen. I set a fitness goal for the show of achieving 100 double turns in a row. This has been the most challenging goal I have set for myself! I’m still working on it!”
Although it’s been the toughest a part of my training routine, bounce rope has develop into my favorite exercise. It’s such a psychological problem and you may study one thing new every single day. I’m able to do mixtures and tips now that I by no means would have thought I’d be doing in my wildest goals.”
On how we will copy her

Once you have a clear picture of what it is you want to achieve it makes it a lot easier. Creating goals with friends is always fun too. My friend and I have a routine of Tuesday and Thursday night workout and dinner each week to stay motivated.”
“Every woman struggles with toning their thighs and butt! It’s the hardest part for me! I think cardio at a high speed really helps to burn fat. This could be a fast run, or 30 minutes of jump rope and boxing. Anything that involves the legs. Secondly, I think reformer Pilates is fantastic for toning the legs. It may not feel like it during the workout, but the next day the burn is real!”
On her go-to meals in the course of the preparation course of
“My food regimen has been fairly easy within the lead as much as the style show. I’m consuming fairly a lot due to the quantity of hours I’m spending within the fitness center. I’ve utterly reduce out processed meals now. This was arduous at first, however I’m doing it with objective, so it makes it a lot simpler to stay to. I’m consuming excessive protein, healthy fat, and sophisticated carbs. I’m consuming meals that make me really feel mild, and provides me the power I have to step into my subsequent exercise.”
“Epsom salt baths have really helped with my muscle recovery, as has a nice neck and shoulders massage. I think training for the Victoria’s Secret show is important as much mentally as it is physically. It’s important to feel your most powerful and confident self. I want to feel fit, healthy and strong when I step onto that runway, with nothing to hide so I can give it my all.”
